Do I need a subscription?
No, and that is a deliberate choice. You pay once: CHF 9 for a CV, CHF 19 for 30 unlimited days, CHF 39 for 90 days with the professional photo. Nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing to watch on your bank statement.
What can I do without paying?
Build your CV in the editor, preview it in full, run an ATS check and download a watermarked PDF. The features that put AI to work (voice dictation, translation, writing) are reserved for the paid plans. That is what lets us avoid funding the free tier through a disguised subscription.
What if I am not happy with the result?
You get a refund within 7 days, with no need to justify yourself. You see your CV in full before paying anyway, so a bad surprise is unlikely.
I am registered with the RAV/ORP, is there a reduced rate?
Yes: 50 % off every pass, on presentation of your registration certificate. Write to us and we will send you a code. Employment centres, municipalities and associations can also contact us for group access.
Is the cover letter included?
Yes. One letter with the Single CV plan, as many as you need with the passes. It draws on your CV and the target job ad, in the Swiss style: concise, factual, addressed by name whenever possible.
How is this suited to Switzerland?
CVgo applies Swiss conventions by default: work permit, year of birth, activity rate, CEFR language levels, well-framed photo, a length of 1 to 2 pages and results-driven wording. This is not a translated American template.
How does the AI professional photo work?
You send a few selfies and AI generates a sharp CV photo: smart clothing, neutral background, Swiss framing. The result stays true to your face, it is you, just better lit, not an avatar.
Does voice dictation work in my language?
Yes. You can describe your experience in whichever language you are most comfortable with; AI turns it into a polished CV, including in English. A real help if English is not your mother tongue.
Will my CV get through recruitment software (ATS)?
CVgo produces clean exports that ATS can read, and gives you a score out of 100 with advice. In Switzerland a human almost always reads your CV: so we optimise for the eye as much as for the machine.
What is Postulez.ch?
It is our companion platform, currently in preparation: apply directly with the CV you built on CVgo. One CV, then applications, without starting over.
What happens to my data?
Your information belongs to you. It is hosted in Switzerland, at Infomaniak, and processed in line with the Swiss FADP and the GDPR. It is used solely to create your CV, never resold, and voice recordings are deleted as soon as transcription is done. You can delete your account, and everything in it, at any time.
